Advanced Strategy Parameters
Liquidations Strategy and Its Parameters
The strategy is based on detecting liquidations and placing orders in long or short depending on the type of liquidated positions.
This strategy is available only to users of the PRO version of the Moonbot terminal.
How the Liquidations strategy works
Within a specified time interval, the strategy checks liquidations — their count, total volume (in USDT), and direction (liquidation of short positions or long positions). If LiqWaitTime > 0, it additionally checks that no new liquidations have occurred for the specified period (in ms).
Depending on LiqDirection, the strategy can be triggered not only by a single detect within the LiqTime interval, but also by combinations of consecutive detects (the minimum time between detects is defined in the NextDetectPenalty filter, while the maximum interval is not limited): (short → long), (long → short), (short → short), (long → long).
For example:
if LiqDirection Twice, the strategy will trigger only if two detects of the same type (either both shorts or both longs) occur consecutively, with at least NextDetectPenalty time between them; the detect window is defined by LiqTime.
Parameters of the strategy
-
LiqTime: field for specifying the interval for counting liquidations, in seconds.
-
LiqCount: field for specifying the number of liquidations within LiqTime. If set to 0, then not applied.
-
LiqVolumeMin: field for specifying the minimum liquidation volume within LiqTime, in USDT. If set to 0, then not applied.
-
LiqVolumeMax: field for specifying the maximum liquidation volume within LiqTime, in USDT. If set to 0, then not applied.
-
LiqWaitTime: field for specifying the waiting time after a detect with no new liquidations, in milliseconds.
-
LiqWithinTime: field for specifying the maximum allowed time since the last liquidation, in milliseconds. If set to 0, then not applied.
-
LiqDirection: menu for selecting the liquidation direction:
-
Both — any
-
OnlyShort — only short liquidations are counted
-
OnlyLong — only long liquidations are counted
-
Combo — two opposite liquidations in a row
-
Twice — two identical liquidations in a row.
-
LiqSameDirection: checkbox YES/NO.
If YES is set, the Buy order will be placed in the same direction as the liquidation.
If NO is set, the Buy order will be placed in the opposite direction; -
Liq_BV_SV_Time: field for specifying the time interval for BV/SV volume calculation, in milliseconds;
-
Liq_BV_SV_Filter: field for specifying the threshold value of the BV/SV ratio (BuyVolume to SellVolume). If set to 0, then not applied.
