Top Menu of the Strategies Window

In the upper-left corner, there is a button with a question mark “?”. Left-clicking it opens a hint about working with folders, which states: “Strategies can be dragged between folders and reordered using the mouse. To create a new folder, right-click and select New Folder. To rename a folder, double-click on it. To delete a folder, right-click on it and select Delete Folder.”

To the right is the Filter field, intended for searching strategies by name. Start typing a name, and only the strategies from the Root folder and other folders that match the entered condition will be displayed. All other strategies will be temporarily hidden. To display all strategies again, clear the filter field.

When the Strategy window is opened for the first time, when none of the strategies is selected, IStrategyName is displayed in the middle.

If a specific strategy is selected, then instead of IStrategyName, the name of the selected strategy and its type are displayed in parentheses, for example: Top Market Detect ( TopMarket ).

If several strategies are selected, the MultiSelection label is displayed in this place. In this mode, you can simultaneously change the parameters of all selected strategies at once. However, if the parameter values are the same in all selected strategies, they will be displayed in the corresponding field. If the values differ, the field will remain empty. Enter a new value in the field of the selected general parameter and click Save. It will be immediately applied to all selected strategies. To verify this, simply click on the strategies from the highlighted list one by one.

Clicking on the ChangeLog label opens the text log file strat_edit.log, located in the logs/strat folder. This file stores records of all changes to strategy parameters, including date and time, strategy name, parameter name, as well as the old and new values. Using this log, you can track the entire history of changes and, if necessary, restore the entire chain of changes in strategies, and if necessary, return the previous settings.

Clicking on the Help label opens the built-in MoonBot FAQ window, which contains structured answers to frequently asked questions on various topics. You can view information by section or use the search bar. A similar help is also available on the Moonbot terminal website in the FAQ section >>>
